Community Ambassadors Program

Become a Founding Community Ambassador

CLA is seeking volunteer leaders to help establish our first regional ambassador network across North and South Carolina.

Carolina Lupus Alliance is building a network of volunteer Community Ambassadors across North and South Carolina. Our ambassadors help foster local connections by organizing informal meetups, educational workshops, wellness activities, and community events for lupus patients, caregivers, families, and supporters.

Whether it's a coffee meetup, park walk, yoga class, picnic, or awareness activity, our goal is to help people living with lupus find support, resources, and community close to home. Be involved in supporting larger scale events in collaboration with the CLA Council as opportunities occur.

We believe that no one should have to navigate lupus alone. Through local ambassadors, we hope to create meaningful opportunities for connection while expanding access to education and support across the Carolinas.

Carolina Lupus Alliance is especially committed to reaching patients in rural, underserved, and historically marginalized communities, where access to lupus-specific resources and peer support may be limited.

We are looking for lupus patients, caregivers, healthcare students, healthcare professionals, and community advocates who are passionate about building connections in their local area. Together, we can create a stronger, more connected lupus community across North and South Carolina.

Interested in becoming a Community Ambassador? We'd love to hear from you.
